OneSeed Expeditions explores the world and invests in people.

We're a Denver-based social enterprise using the power of adventure travel to invest in small scale entrepreneurs around the world.  Over the last seven years, we've led hundreds of expeditions across Asia, Latin America, and East Africa while supporting more than 500 entrepreneurs with the seed capital needed to grow their businesses. 

Our small Denver office coordinates more than 60 guides and international staff operating in seven countries across three continents in four languages. 

We love adventure, crisp mountain air, and entrepreneurial hustle. 

We're looking for aN EXPERIENCED and driven sales pro to join our Denver team. 

Position Title: Expedition Specialist

Start Date: February/March 2019

Position Purpose: The Expedition Specialist is the primary point of contact for our travelers during the booking and pre-expedition process.


  • General:

    • Build relationships with OneSeed travelers, staff, and partners to execute our mission

    • Manage inbound leads from initial inquiry through departure

    • Oversee sales pipeline and work towards quarterly and annual goals

    • Field and respond to all traveler inquiries

    • Understand and effectively communicate the OneSeed Model and our work around the world

    • Work collaboratively with our Head of Sales and Head of Operations to answer questions for prospective and confirmed travelers

    • Plan and develop strategy with our leadership team

  • Sales and Customer Service (80%)

    • Responsible for all inbound lead management and sale closing process

    • Responsible for fielding and quickly responding to inquiries and requests post-sale

    • Achieve annual growth goals in line with our strategic growth plan

  • Analysis (20%):

    • Maintain sales pipeline and generate periodic reports

    • Set and meet revenue and product performance goals

    • Provide insight to drive sales process improvements

compensation + perks  

  • Salary range: $50-$60K

  • Compensation is commensurate with experience; healthcare included

  • Travel to OneSeed destinations and exposure to guiding operations

  • Flexible scheduling and unlimited vacation upon completion of 3 month training period

  • A goal-driven professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in sales (preferably in travel or outdoor recreation)

  • A quick learner comfortable with technology and able to master a variety of data management systems

  • A travel pro with extensive experience working/living/traveling outside of the U.S
